I am using iBall ADSL2+Router configured with WPA-Personal. After authentication, it is shown that 'wireless connection established'. But I can't browse the internet. It works just fine with a wired connection.
With the wireless connection active (so that the problem is happening), please open a Terminal window (Ctrl+Alt+T) and run ifconfig; echo; ping -c 5 8.8.8.8; ping -c 5 www.google.com. Then switch it over to the wired connection so you can access the Internet, select all the text in the Terminal (including the text you typed), copy it to the clipboard, and edit your question to include it (use the <$> tool in the Ask Ubuntu editing toolbar so it appears correctly). This will provide some important information to help diagnose your problem. – Eliah KaganJan 7 at 7:15
