Ask Ubuntu is a question and answer site for Ubuntu users and developers. It's 100% free, no registration required.

I have two servers that run Avahi & afp to provide access for my mac. one is called ubuntu and the other ubuntu-new (not very creative i know). I can see each of them in my finder window.

When I connect to one through the finder i see it's shares "root" "Time machine" and "home". Everything works fine.

I then attempt to connect to the other and when i open a finder window the shares from the first connected server show up.

If I eject both servers and try again in reverse order the same thing happens the first server I connect to shows its shares correctly but the second server shows the firsts.

Has anyone solved this problem.
