My laptop came with Ubuntu as a pre-loaded OS but my brother removed it and installed Windows 7 over it and after reinstalling Ubuntu Wifi is not working. It is not showing available Wifi networks. It used to work before and I am sure that my Wifi adapter is compatible with Linux.

I need help installing the drivers of the Wifi adapter.
