I did the usb method using LiLi USB creator and everything goes according to plan except when I try to actually boot into it. It gets to the purple screen after about 30 seconds the dots stop showing any signs of life altogether. I'm completely new to ubuntu so I wouldnt know where to enter commands, etc

Edit: i managed to reach the page where it gives various options like booting from usb, installing, etc but every option gives the same result wit the dots freezing – Kuleke Jan 3 at 15:57
