Ask Ubuntu is a question and answer site for Ubuntu users and developers. It's 100% free, no registration required.

I have got an old Android Tablet (Archos 101, https://wiki.ubuntu.com/ARM/Archos101it?action=show&redirect=ARM%2FOMAP%2FArchos101it) which should support Ubuntu.

I want to perform what does:

sudo rootstock --fqdn archos --login u --password u --keepimage --imagesize 1500M --seed kubuntu-mobile --dist maverick

Is rootstock here still the way to go? I would like a minimal Ubuntu Image with just Unity and HW support (Sound, Touch, Battery). Is there a better way to get Ubuntu Images now?
