I am using Kubuntu 12.10 and I am trying to run two commands, one after the other, upon login. These commands need to be run as the root user. I have already tried using "Startup and Shutdown" in System Settings, but this didn't do it for me. The key here is that the second script is run after the first one, as opposed to after the first one finishes.
