On Xubuntu 12.10, when I resume from suspend, the clock displays the time when the suspend occurred, and it takes about 30 seconds for the clock to update to the correct time. Then the clock works fine after that. Does anyone know how to make the clock update quicker?

That sounds like a bug, bugs are off topic here. You should report it. How do I report a bug –  Uri Herrera Jan 1 '13 at 21:31

Alternatively, you can use the Orage Panel Clock that comes with Orage. It is very flexible, and quite possibly avoids the lag after resume issue. –  landroni Jan 14 '14 at 12:20
