I am using Sony Vaio E Series laptop.I have a router which is not detected by the laptop. When I tried sudo rfkill list the output is like this.

0: sony-wifi: Wireless LAN
              Soft Blocked: no
              Hard Blocked: yes
1: sony-bluetooth: Bluetooth LAN
              Soft Blocked: no
              Hard Blocked: yes
2: phy0: Wireless LAN
              Soft Blocked: no
              Hard Blocked: yes

Also when I check my network setings, then I see that it is in Airplane Mode.& after switching OFF this mode it automatically switches ON. Please help me out to get rid of this problem. Thanks@!!!

Please refer to your notebook manual in order to find a hardware switch (either touch button or slide switch) to disable the "Airplane mode". – gertvdijk Jan 3 at 13:06
