lspci output:

04:00.0 Ethernet controller: Marvell Technology Group Ltd. 88E8053 PCI-E Gigabit Ethernet Controller (rev 22)

Syslog:

http://paste.ubuntu.com/1485305/

It gets a

PCI hardware error (0x2010)

WARNING: at /build/buildd/linux-3.5.0/net/sched/sch_generic.c:255 dev_watchdog+0x24a/0x260()

Then it tries to bring the connection up from there on until a reboot, failing after a few seconds and dropping it again.

This is either a bug or hardware failure and therefore off-topic. One tip: try a recent kernel like 3.7.x from kernel.ubuntu.com/~kernel-ppa/mainline and if that fails too, then first exclude hardware failure. –  gertvdijk Jan 1 '13 at 15:34
