The clickpad on my Macbook seems too sensitive under Ubuntu. This really becomes an issue when I'm trying to right click. The behavior I'm seeing is that when I click with 2 fingers (physical click, not tap) the motion of my fingers pressing down registers as a slight movement and causes the first item of a contextual to become selected, then when I release the click that selection is accepted. I have tried making faster clicks, but that does nothing to solve the issue. Is there some way that I can either slightly increase the minimum movement that the pad will see as an intentional move, or increase the amount of time the pad sees as a click before it think I'm navigating a menu with the button depressed (and thus accepting a selection when the button is released)?

Have you tried changing the mouse settings under "System Settings"? – Seth Feb 25 at 18:09
