So anyone who knows about the Maxtor Blackarmor hard drives knows that they have software for use with Windows for encryption and I'm trying to find a way to format my BlackArmor 320GB Hard Drive to utilize what it currently has. When mounted it's read as having 0 Free space on a completely empty hard drive and has 31.4 MB of data on it. The data is the help folder. The Maxtor Manager Folder and the Launcher.exe and is mounted as a UDF. How can I format it to no longer require the exe to unlock the hard drive in full and to utilize the drive as a normal hard drive with Linux encryption? Thanks for any help that may be out there.
