Ask Ubuntu is a question and answer site for Ubuntu users and developers. It's 100% free, no registration required.

System: Linux Mint 13 (Maya)

Default behavior: On login I have to type username and password.

Desired behavior: The username should be preselected to a default user, so I only have to type the password.
To login as someone else, I would have to click somewhere.
A similar behavior can be found at gmail.

Not a solution: There are some login screens where you can click the user instead of typing the username. This is still one step too much, for my taste.

Is there any way to get this behavior in Mint?
Thanks!

Hi and welcome to Ask Ubuntu. Since Mint is not an official ubuntu derivative, such questions are off-topic here. However, they would be on-topic with our fellow SE site - Unix & Linux. – fossfreedom Dec 27 '12 at 19:37
