Im trying to install openoffice instead of using libreoffice, i've removed libreoffice and added a repo for openoffice, its installed the 64bit version but when I try to run it I get this error on the command line:

/opt/openoffice.org3/program/soffice: 84: /opt/openoffice.org3/program/soffice: /opt/openoffice.org3/program/../basis-link/program/pagein: not found /opt/openoffice.org3/program/soffice: 1: /opt/openoffice.org3/program/soffice: /opt/openoffice.org3/program/../basis-link/ure-link/bin/javaldx: not found /opt/openoffice.org3/program/soffice: 120: /opt/openoffice.org3/program/soffice: /opt/openoffice.org3/program/soffice.bin: not found

So where is the problem?

@Mukund I've read through that already and got it to install properly just can't load OO now. –  Dean Dec 27 '12 at 17:03
This problem has already been reported.A thread in Ubuntu forums suggests downloading Open office from openoffice.org/download/other.html You will have to remove all installed OpenOffice packages before reinstalling. This is a rare problem but it has already been reported, so if you could keep track of the precise steps and post them here it could be helpful to others. –  Mukund Dec 27 '12 at 17:42
