Have the following problem: Have LibreOffice 3.6.4.3 installed. In Dash Home, under installed, it shows an icon with "LibreOffice 3.5 Math" text, and it should not show anything. It is not an LO icon, but an generic one. Purged LO via: sudo apt-get purge libreoffice*. Did also do: sudo apt-get autoremove. Still shows the icon.

So, is this an install problem or a Dash problem, and how to solve it.

Also: How is the Dash Home setup? Where are the icons, or the links to the icons?

Looks more like a bug to me. Maybe you should fill a bug report to inform the developers? –  Melon Dec 23 '12 at 7:44

When logging in to gnome, it shows up as well, I found out. –  Dream Dec 25 '12 at 3:03

Well, I don't know dash reads all those programs and files. I think that you should report a bug to developers, because I think some artifact was left and that's why you see the old icon. –  Melon Dec 25 '12 at 7:43
