chili555 had posted a reply to a similar question but I have no idea how to get it working. Upcoming support for Qualcomm Atheros AR9565 wireless?

Let's verify your device first: lspci -nn | grep 0280. Also your Ubuntu version: lsb_release -d. – chili555 Dec 26 '12 at 13:46

Thanks for helping. Over at the attached link, I have more information from lspci, ifconfig, sudo lshw -C network, modprobe -l, iwconfig ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=2097810 – user26358 Dec 27 '12 at 17:38
