I installed ubuntu 12.04 on my HP ProBook 4515s but the wlan (i think it is a Broadcom 4312) doesn't works. So i tried this: Wireless not working - HP Probook 4540s .. and had the same problem:

FATAL: Module rt3259sta not found.

The card isn't even listed when i call lspci:

sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get --reinstall install bcmwl-kernel-source

With an Ethernet connection, open a terminal and write:

sudo apt-get install firmware-b43-installer

Restart your computer and see if it works then.

ok, i tried that, but it still doesn't work, it isn't listed through lspci too. (I installed ubuntu 12.10 before 12.04, during the installation the wlan worked fine, after the installation i ran into an other problem, but the wlan doesn't worked..) –  Milo Tischler Dec 21 '12 at 14:56
