We have many different linux based os : Ubuntu, Knopix, fedora,suse and many more. I need an OS for the developers or I mean which is the best one for developers.

I know this question is bit out of place but please answer as its urgent. I need to know the advantages and disadvantages of others OS.As you guys are expert and have used many Linux based OS just wanted to know from you guys.

the reason I recommend sabayon is because it is source based and has a lot of developer tools it's basically a fancy version of gentoo that is much easier to use. one thing why not just use Ubuntu or Linux Mint? – Taylor Bioniks Dec 21 '12 at 9:02
