My internet keeps dropping with comcast xfinity router on 12.10. I have tried all of the Chrome tricks, checked the firewall and DNS settings, disabled IPV6, re-enabled, updated and all no luck. I also changed the encryption from the router trying both TKIP and AES and TKIP/AES. Same results all the way arounud. It is wonky with both wired and wireless.

dig shows a SERVFAIL error when the problem occurs.

This problem is limited to Ubuntu. Not present on Arch or Android devices. Thanks in advance if anyone has any insight into this. I have searched and have only found two similar issues, switching encryption worked for one of the authors, but not in my case.
