I can't install sonic-visualiser in Ubuntu 12.10, and I really need it. I've tried with the package on the official site http://www.sonicvisualiser.org/download.html, but Software Center can't open it. So, i've tried to add the PPA repository from https://launchpad.net/~rghvdberg/+archive/sv and to install it via terminal, but term say that it could not find the files. I don't know whtat to do now

I got this error from Software Center while trying to Install Sonic Visualiser 64 bit in Ubuntu 12.04
May be this is the reason why you are not able to install in 12.10. I suggest that you download the source, and just build from source. |

sudo dpkg -i sonic-visualiser_2.0cc-1_i386.deband the installation went fine and the application opens fine. I am running 12.04. – maggotbrain Dec 12 '12 at 12:25gdebi. – Mik Dec 13 '12 at 14:56
