I am trying to install virt-manager on 11.10 on 64 bit machine sudo aptitude install virt-manager

here is where it stopped the install

Processing triggers for python-support ...

What should be done in this case to resolve it?

Do you have, accidentally opened synaptics or software manager while trying to install it ? P.S. By the way you should schedule your self for an upgrade to 12.04.1 (supported until 2017 ) because 11.10 Ubuntu will stop being supported in April 2013. :) –  Salih Emin Dec 12 '12 at 11:06
Well don't remember but now the system is unable to shut down unless I press the power button on laptop. –  Registered User Dec 15 '12 at 17:49
