My flash player recently started playing videos 4 times as fast with no audio. I've tried removing then reinstalling my flash, but it hasn't worked.

My teacher recommended I try returning my system to a configuration before flash player became flawed. I've looked elsewhere but I haven't been able to find an explanation of the process if it exists.

It would help if you could tell us which browser you are using and how you have installed flash. – Andrea Corbellini Dec 11 '12 at 13:39
This is a known bug related to Flash. Please try to use Superman or Hulk, they will play the video better.. Hulk might break the video. Sorry had to make the joke. Anyway, can you add the following information: Browser you are using and version of it, Did you install the ubuntu restricted extra package? What version of Flash are you using, have you tried another browser( If using Firefox try Chrome, if using Chrome try Firefox). – Luis Alvarado♦ Dec 11 '12 at 13:44
