dpkg: error: parsing file '/var/lib/dpkg/available' near line 13 package 'python-pkg-resources error

Question

I got frustraded and re-installed ubuntu server. I'm at the point in the cmd line:

sudo apt-get update .. done
sudo apt-get upgrade .. done
sudo apt-get install linux-image-server linux-headders-server linux-souce

Note: power source when out. turn computer back on

and ran the same command sudo apt-get install linux-image-server linux-headders-server linux-souce and got this:

The following package have unmet dependecies:
Linux-source : depends :linux-sorce-3.5.0
but it is not going to be installed
E:Unmet dependecies try 'apt-get -f install' with no packages ( or specify a solucion)

So i try

sudo apt-get -f install

answer Yes to question and got this error

package 'python-pkg-resources':
'conflicts' field syntax error after reference to package 'python2.3-setuptools'
E:sub-process /usr/bin/dpkg returned an error code (2)
