I use a DSL cable modem for Connecting Internet. Many a times it happens that the modem is turned off due to some problems by my ISP, and is started after sometime. Now the problem is that every time the modem goes off, the Network Manager shows no devices detected and I am forced to restart my pc in order to detect the modem. I want a way I can keep on checking if the network device is found (working) without restarting. Is there a way to do so?
