I followed the instructions on the page, but when I restarted my Mac, only the hard drive was available to boot from. I went ahead and did, and then a notification popped up that said that my computer couldn't read the flash drive. Now I can't fix it.

I have a feeling that this might be the partition table problem I've been seeing with some Verbatim, Cruzer, and Sandisk drives. You might be able to fix the thumbdrive with the instructions in this post. You'll have to find out the equivalent commands for Mac OSX since the solution is the bash dd command, but I believe the fix, and the original cause, may be the same. |
