I have a 20-inch LG monitor which I connected to my dv6 Laptop running 12.04.So both displays are integrated and whenever I remove power cord from my laptop after the battery is charged,the display configuration in the "Displays" option changes and goes back to the default config which isn't proper.How to make changes that will persist with change in ac or dc power.Why is this happening ?

Is there no one to help me out with this tiring problem.Now i don't use the second monitor but it still keeps going back to a lower resolution. – therealnube Dec 8 '12 at 6:40
