Hi I have a new PC and yesterday i've installed Ubuntu, everything worked fine, but today the system starts not with graphic menu but with command menu and want me to log in.

When I press alt+ctrl+7 it breaks down on black screen with [ok] in the middle. But after i restart it loads the graphic menu to log in?

And it shows some system error message.

I dont know what to do, I have installed all the available updates and restricted extras yesterday and thats it. Tried to install the hardware controllers but there weren't any for i7-3770s nor for my asrock z77 pro gen4, nor for my samsung ssd.

What now? Help!

Error message popped up when I finally logged into graphical menu, it said that there is some graphical error and that I cave to chose from some menu option, first one was a low graphic menu but the system froze, so... . Now it looks like it, when I turn on my PC it either load –  Matt Dec 7 '12 at 10:50
Now it looks like it, when I turn on my PC it either load command menu, or that menu with [OK] but frozen or graphical menu. When I restart few times it finally brings me the graphical menu but thats a bit strange to do that each time. I' ve tried some commands from this topic: askubuntu.com/questions/141606/… ;like - sudo apt-get install --reinstall ubuntu-desktop - sudo apt-get install fglrx - greeter-session=unity-greeter (that one i had already in the menu so) but non of those did work. What now? –  Matt Dec 7 '12 at 10:56
"possible duplicate of My computer boots to a black screen, what options do I have to fix it? – SiddharthaRT" My PC is not dual boot it's a new one, it's a first system on it. –  Matt Dec 7 '12 at 10:58
