It's meant to be at http://old-releases.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/dists/ since it's EOL, but I can't find it there:

$ wget -qO- http://old-releases.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/dists/ | grep -Fie natty -e 11.04
$

Nothing relevant found after searching the web for half an hour.

It feels like I'm missing the obvious, but I've run out of ideas.

You're looking in the right place, the archive team just hasn't gotten to publishing 11.04 there yet, sorry!

Thank. I can see it now being at archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/dists. Am I getting insane or was it just added back there? (the first option is not unlikely...). – sch Dec 4 '12 at 14:41

old-releases is for LTS versions as far as I know. For me, archive.ubuntu.com worked to the point of no 404 errors, I upgraded immediately afterwards, so I'm not sure if it actually has packages.
