I recently install Linux Ubuntu 12.10 and it doesn't give me any privileges! I went to my account and it said invalid password so I went onto a guest account and my standard user account is disabled! I cannot do anything even add a internet connection. Its all because of this "Super User" Named root. there no administrator account, no other users but me...

@user112517 in the guest account, open a terminal and type sudo su your-user-name-here and enter your password. If an error message is displayed, please add it to your question. –  iBelieve Dec 4 '12 at 2:03
