I have the following error when trying to boot Metal Gear Solid 2, through Wine. On google I have searched for some fixes. One of them was the "nVidia" patch, obviously it did not work.

I have saved the error message here.

Anyone have any idea what the problem might be?

Even though I'm not sure what the error tells me. I made Metal Gear Solid 2 work by running it with a terminal command instead of double clicking on the .exe. < wine /path/to/Game.exe – empec Dec 14 '12 at 14:15
