I have a computer with Ubuntu12.04 and Dropbox. When I login it remotely via ssh, I find that Dropbox's daemon won't be called up. How to solve this problem, please?

Can we assume this is a remote SSH session and command line?

Try this: Linux Command Line Dropbox Tips & Tricks

Do you have some specific task you are trying to setup / automate?

Yeah, it is a command line remote SSH session. Nothing much specific. I just want that computer keeps synced. I'll try the solution in that link later. Thx. – updogliu Nov 28 '12 at 12:15

Different timezone. Saw this question late lastnight, and unsure if link I added is even on target (hence question). Also reluctant to add content I have yet to test myself .. (will do when able). – david6 Nov 29 '12 at 8:18
I just tried. The script works via command line ssh. Thank you. – updogliu Dec 4 '12 at 3:47
