Ask Ubuntu is a question and answer site for Ubuntu users and developers. It's 100% free, no registration required.

Ii'm trying to re-install ubuntu i've tried `

sudo dpkg-reconfigure -phigh -a

' But that didn't work. So I went to BIOS enabled USB Legacy and but booting my USB first. But the computer does not recognize my flash drive even though it still recognizes my USB keyboard and mouse. I only got in once but there was no re-install option or anything related to it. All there was, was memory check and a choice named "Ubuntu" that just takes me back to the login page.
