After a clean install (twice) of Ubuntu 12.04 32-bit on an older Dell Dimension 2400 (not dual booting), My Microsoft brand wired USB mouse apparently has right click disabled on the desktop and in all applications. Verified that the mouse is working properly on windows systems and even switched out the mouse with another wired Microsoft USB mouse that was verified to work on Windows systems. Scrolling is also kind of lagging and jerky with Ubuntu. Otherwise, the mouse and everything else works fine.
