I know that I can change the name of the computer editing the file /etc/hostname.

My question is if it can be configured so the name in the lan (eth0) appears with one name and in the wireless lan appears(wlan2) with other name, because the are connected to different networks (at the same time) that use different nomenclature for their computers.

I have Ubuntu 12.04.

I don't think this is possible. Your computer has one name. But, from a network perspective, your computer can have one name per IP, in the DNS. – Christophe Drevet Nov 23 '12 at 13:58
