Ask Ubuntu is a question and answer site for Ubuntu users and developers. It's 100% free, no registration required.

I'm facing a pretty annoying bug. I've just upgraded my computer from 12.04 to 12.10. On 12.04, my user account was connected to my Active Directory server, this also works after the upgrade.

Since the upgrade, I had to install my online accounts, ok. But now, Empathy doesn't see these accounts. The Empathy window shows "You need to setup an account to see contacts here" and the "Account settings" button.

If I click this button, I see the accounts I previously created. Within the "Online Accounts" window, for each account, I can see Empathy with a button "Options", if I click this button, I get and empty applet, with just the "Cancel" and "Done" buttons.

And so, Empathy doesn't work ! Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks.
