I have been upgrading ubuntu for the last couple of hours. Is there way to make upgrade happen without any confirmation dialogues?
One of the situations is that I have changed my.cnf file and the upgrade got paused to confirm this. Is there an option to make ubuntu backup those files and put the new version of the file and just give a report or a log of such files replaced. It makes no sense for me to be in front of the computer when upgrade is going on like this and I want the upgrade to be over when I get back.
And I am in the middle of an upgrade. Is it too late to do anything like that?
