I have a couple of drives installed. A standard 7200rpm hard drive is reporting a link speed of 3 Gbps in dmesg. The Agility 3 SSD is reporting 1.5Gbps.
Using hdparm gives the following results:
Agility 3 SSD: Timing cached reads: 2420 MB in 2.00 seconds = 1210.77 MB/sec Timing buffered disk reads: 376 MB in 3.01 seconds = 124.84 MB/sec Standard HD: Timing cached reads: 2236 MB in 2.00 seconds = 1118.90 MB/sec Timing buffered disk reads: 596 MB in 3.01 seconds = 198.20 MB/sec
So the OCZ Agility 3 SSD is way under-performing.
Does anyone know how to get the link speed up to 3Gbps?
Here is the stuff from dmesg for the SSD:
