Every time I install Ubuntu 12.10, my computer can't find the boot partition and I always get this message:

SYSLINUX 3.85 2010-02-20 CBIOS Copyright (c) 1994-2010 H. Peter Anvin et al
No DEFAULT or UI configuration directive found!
boot:

I can however select 'ubuntu' in my BIOS boot device selection screen. How do I fix this?

Without more information about how you created your boot media (USB stick? DVD?) and what boot options you have in your BIOS, this is not possible to answer. –  tripleee Jan 16 '13 at 4:34
