The folders and files are on an external western digital hard drive and it is only showing as text files and (i.e) they are not being recognised, so can't be opened. (unless you count a blank leafpad page!) Various file types:
docs folder containing jpgs etc.
I am not sure why this is so, but I would like to fix it if possible so I can read the files on my desktop.
