Try running:

echo -e '#!/bin/bash\nexit0' | sudo tee /var/lib/dpkg/info/fern-wifi-cracker.prerm

and then remove the package with:

sudo apt-get purge fern-wifi-cracker

The first command will replace the pre-uninstall script with a script that never fails.

Sounds like the program has a bad uninstall script. You might try purging it to see if that works. Otherwise it's gonna need some real elbow grease to get rid of.

sudo apt-get purge fern-wifi-cracker

Hope this helps.

PS: Also try Rebooting first to see of that loosens anything up.
