I own a license to Workstation 6.5.5. installed on Ubuntu 12.04; however, when trying to run it, I get the following error messages:

ERROR: modinfo: could not find module vmmon
ERROR: modinfo: could not find module vmnet
ERROR: modinfo: could not find module vmblock
ERROR: modinfo: could not find module vmci
ERROR: modinfo: could not find module vsock
ERROR: modinfo: could not find module vmmon
ERROR: modinfo: could not find module vmnet
ERROR: modinfo: could not find module vmblock
ERROR: modinfo: could not find module vmci
ERROR: modinfo: could not find module vsock
ERROR: modinfo: could not find module vmmon
ERROR: modinfo: could not find module vmnet
ERROR: modinfo: could not find module vmblock
ERROR: modinfo: could not find module vmci
ERROR: modinfo: could not find module vsock
ERROR: modinfo: could not find module vmmon
ERROR: modinfo: could not find module vmnet
ERROR: modinfo: could not find module vmblock
ERROR: modinfo: could not find module vmci
ERROR: modinfo: could not find module vsock

then a windows of VMware Kernel Module Updater that cannot find the kernel header, though they exist. Different solution of patching newer Workstation versions (8.0) does not work.

Any help will be appreciated.
