(Needless to say I have very minimal linux experience)
So I've installed Ubuntu 12.04 on a Fujitsu Amilo M1425 machine, and according to here everything should work properly. Except it doesn't. I did the install thru the network with mini.iso only. At first I had no problems with either the ethernet or wi-fi.
Now, though, they've just disappeared from the Network option in System Settings. When I go there the error "The system network services are not compatible with this version" pops up. The only remaining thing to setup there is "Network Proxy" No idea why this happened and how to get back to normal..
What I'd love to know is where to find drivers for the specific components for linux and how to install them.. Ok they're in the kernel but a reinstall looks really essential here. This will also help with the graphics driver I need for later but networking is more vital for now.
Thanks in advance!
p.s: I need drivers for the following:
*Intel PRO/Wireless 2200BG
*ATI Mobility Radeon 9600 M10
*Realtek Semiconductor Co., Ltd. RTL-8139/8139C/8139C+
