Ask Ubuntu is a question and answer site for Ubuntu users and developers. It's 100% free, no registration required.

The pop-up with the text "wired network: disconnected" is being showed even though I have a fully working connection. This pop-up annoys me so I am wondering if you could turn that pop-up off or something similar.

Thanks in advance!

This is probably a bug on network-manager, Type ubuntu-bug network-manager to report it, thanks! –  Jorge Castro Nov 12 '12 at 0:48

It is a bug in Ubuntu , It happens ussually when I disconnect my Wired Ethernet Cable , Then it switches to Wireless Imidiately , Though I dont loose connection in the process , It says "Internet Disconnected , You are now Offline"

Report the Bug on Launchpad, not on this site.
