Ask Ubuntu is a question and answer site for Ubuntu users and developers. It's 100% free, no registration required.

I have been trying to figure out this problem. I am currently dual-booting Ubuntu with my Windows machine.

My Ubuntu would connect to my wireless router but it cannot access any web pages nor ping any hosts. Wired connection works just fine.

My Windows OS in the same machine (with the exact same network configuration as my Ubuntu machine) connects and works fine.

I don't know why Ubuntu cannot access the Internet. Any ideas?
