Currently i'm scheduling some tasks using a sh script and crontab (obviously) It seems like i can only get the script to execute if i choose it to run as an X Application.
I've checked up a little on what an X Application is (i'm extremely new to Linux & Ubuntu) and all that i've gathered is it's a GUI framework for running applications.
Anyway my script works fine, this is the line from the crontab:
0 * * * * /usr/bin/python /usr/share/gnome-schedule/xwrapper.py c 10 # JOB_ID_10
Although my script is actually stored in my home drive so i have no idea what the crontab shows.
line from gnome-scheduler:
$HOME/GoogleDrive/ServerInfo/Scripts/StartUp.sh >/dev/null 2>&1
although my initial input using the scheduler just included the file link not
Don't what that is, but anyway.
Question: How do i get the script to save the output of the gnome-terminal
P.S. I've read other Forum Questions. None Help.
