I kept my SONY VAIO E-series laptop overnight for up-gradation from 12.04 to 12.10. It asked me for the restart when I woke up in morning, but when I did that, its not booting into upgraded OS ver 12.10.
I m not sure where to check into boot logs, can someone help me before I try installing a fresh installation which is actually not preferable.
Previsouly I had also successfully installed similar OS version upgrade on my desktop which worked flawlessly. but somehow now on my laptop.
