First of, let me start by saying I did search for related answers, but they not the same.
Now to the problem:
Often when I play music (happens with both rhythmbox, lastfm-client and other players so its not player specific.
What happens is that the sound / system freezes for like 1 secound and then it returns again.. Some times it can be fine for 30 min, and other times it continues every 1 min.
I have tryed with both Gnome (shell / gnome remix edition) and standard unity. Also it happend in ubuntu 12.04 as well.. Now you are probably thinking it has somthing to do with GNOME, but it was all fine on archlinux (with gnome 3.4)
I have tryed checking some system logs, but could not find anything or maybe i'm not looking the right place?
My system:
- CPU: Intel® Core™ i7 CPU Q 720 @ 1.60GHz × 8
- GFX: GeForce GTS 250M/PCIe/SSE2 -- Driver: nvidia-current. (I have tryed with newer drivers as well)
64 bit.
I really feel i have tryed alot of things.. Searching the web, asking IRC etc. nothing usefull so far, so i'm asking you guys :)
