Ask Ubuntu is a question and answer site for Ubuntu users and developers. It's 100% free, no registration required.

I first have upgraded from ubuntu version 10.04 to 12.04. However, the graphic card was undetected. As a result Unity is working slow. I tried to install the driver 'manually' as described in 12.04 is not detecting onboard Intel GMA 950! Need to install driver Manually!.

However, after having this implemented and a reboot, the graphic still was undetected. Furthermore my WLAN wasn't working any more. Checking in drivers I recognized the'Broadcom-STA-WLAN-Treiber' was de-actived. And it was not possible to activate it again. So, I started over and installed again 12.04...

My question now is: What can I do to get the correct graphic driver detected.

Thanks in Advance!
