What clipboard manager can be used for Ubuntu 12.04 64 bit Unity? I tried Parcellite and Glipper - both not working. Parcellite remains invisible, Glipper crashes.

Try ClipIt. It works on both Gnome3 and Unity.

Thanks, clipit works in my Ubuntu 12.04 Gnome, but remains invisible in Unity. Looks like the same problem as with other clipboard managers. – 0123456789 Nov 4 '12 at 8:31
Are you sure its running? It works in my gnome and unity. On 12.10.. but it doesn't start automatically, you have to start it. – StuartHa Nov 4 '12 at 9:22

Otherwise try Diodon, which comes with a Unity integration such as an application indicator and a Unity Lens.

After installing about 20 different Diodon prerequisites, I give up - looks like this project is not ready yet :( – 0123456789 Nov 6 '12 at 15:47
Were you installing it from the ppa or from source? – Oliver Sauder Nov 7 '12 at 17:28
I installed it from the ppa, no problem and works perfectly :) – Immanuel Weihnacht Nov 13 '12 at 15:16
That's a really nice clipboard manager. Thanks! – Scaine Jan 6 '13 at 0:34
Thanks a lot. Finally a worthy replacement of the old Glipper I've used for years! – Daniel Holm Mar 18 '15 at 14:45

Parcellite just released a version with appindicator. You can also white list it. Details in 1.1.4 release notes: ppa for appindicator:

Use clip it.

apt-get install clipit

Keepboard is another one you can give a try.
