Ask Ubuntu is a question and answer site for Ubuntu users and developers. It's 100% free, no registration required.

I'm using screenshot to take a picture of multiple screens, however each time I save the screen shot the app closes. Then I have to hit the super key, type screen, hit enter, take snapshot, repeat. Is there a way to keep the screenshot app open so I don't have to repeat this for the 10 or so screenshots I want to take?

I'm new to Ubuntu, been using Kubuntu for a long time and I know ksnapshot doesn't display this behavoir. Neither does snipping tool on Windows.

Just a bit frstrated

I should use shutter, as it stays open after you have taken a screenshot and you can upload pics with it too: see askubuntu.com/questions/177921 – Mik Nov 3 '12 at 0:20
Thanks @Mik for the information on shutter, downloaded it, installed and seems to do what I want it to do. – jjesse Nov 3 '12 at 0:47
