I want to install ubuntu 12.10 after windows 8 but ubuntu I installer doesn't even see windows partitions. What should I do?

Disk tool in ubuntu correctly recognizes partions.

Can you check if the partitions on your windows system are marked as dynamic or basic? You can do that by checking it with the disk manager in Windows. – Bruno Pereira♦ Oct 31 '12 at 11:55
basic, these are two standard windows 8 partions created during windows 8 install – greg606 Oct 31 '12 at 12:04
